The Velocity Blunt SS is Lighter, wider, and stronger than the previous Blunt version. The Blunt SS was designed to be the best-in-class rim for cross country use. The I-beam bead hook maximizes the internal rim width for optimum tubeless tire performance. The result is fewer tire burps at lower PSI.
Other key changes from previous Velocity Blunt models includes shorter and thicker sidewalls that result in improved vertical and lateral strength and an advanced spoke bed design that allows for higher spoke tension.
