Zipp's 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher has all the hallmark characteristics of the 303 but has been redesigned with Firecrest shaping. Zipp's Firecrest aero profile is the first deep-profile carbon clincher design to offer the superior aerodynamics, ride quality, strength, and handling of a wider rim body.

Heavy, continuous braking on carbon surfaces can cause spikes in rim temperature and tire pressure that impact performance and handling - especially with clincher tires. To solve this challenge, Zipp's US-based composites supplier created a new heat-resistant resin exclusively for Zipp. This technology improves heat dissipation so substantially that these are the only carbon clinchers to pass stringent European safety testing without limitations on rider weight or brake pad options.

Zipp's 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher is one of the most formidable wheels in the pro peloton, with wins in the Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of Flanders and more. Yet at just 1,498g per set, the 303 is light enough to climb up the steepest gradients with ease.
