Zipp’s ultra-light 255 Tubular rim uses a 32mm aero shape that’s perfect for the steepest climbs. Its low-profile cross-section performs exceptionally well on tricky descents where crosswind handling can be difficult.

These rims are found on Zipp’s 202 tubular wheelsets and are a good choice for anyone seeking the ultimate lightweight custom wheelset. The rim was designed for events such as criteriums and climbing, where acceleration and low mass are crucial, but the 255 also rolls efficiently on the flats due to its aero profile. The 202 wheelset finished 4th at Paris-Roubaix, where it was the first carbon wheel to complete the treacherous race known as the Hell of the North.

Zipp’s 255 employs Carbon Bridge technology for increased stiffness and greater impact resistance.
