White Industries MI6 Disc Rear MTB Hub

The MI6 rear hub is White Industries' disc brake specific hub. If you're looking for a hub that can hold up to the severe punishment of off-road riding, the MI6 is an excellent choice.

Designed for ISO standard six-bolt rotors, this hub will accept all major disc brake rotors. The MI6 is ideally equipped for mountain bikes and designed specifically to handle a wide variety of rugged terrain conditions. Beautifully machined, hand polished, lightweight and strong, the MI6 is a great choice for cross-country, cyclocross, hybrid, commuting and other disc brake applications.

The MI6 hub design incorporates an oversized 15mm chromoly axle, and a one-piece aluminum hub shell. The steel freehub body comes stock on the disc compatible MI6, however, for riders that prefer the lighter weight of titanium, the 6/4 TI driver is an available upgrade. Its lightweight freehub body uses three tool steel pawls to engage a hardened 24-point drive ring for rock-solid power transfer. The MI6's rotor mount is machined as part of the hub shell -- the advantage of the integrated rotor mount is a streamlined high-strength hub shell. The MI6 hub is made in the USA.

The MI6 is available with optional drum brake adaptors for tandems.
