White Industries designed the Daisy exclusively for the additional strength required by tandem bicycles. The Daisy's elegant high flange hub shell was purposefully designed to optimize wheel strength.
Not only do the taller flanges add to the character of the hub, they serve the specific purpose of creating a stronger and stiffer wheel. The daisy rear hub is drum brake compatible and spaced at 145 mm width. Its lightweight Cro-Mo freehub body uses three tool steel pawls to engage a hardened 24-point drive ring for rock solid power transfer.
