The Aerohead OC (Off Center) has the same characteristics as the standard Velocity Aerohead Rim, but with an asymmetric profile. This offset design creates a more uniform spoke tension between the drive and non-drive sides and improves the bracing angle of drive side. These characteristics make the Aerohead OC an excellent rear rim choice.
Like the Aerohead, the Aerohead OC is ideal if youre looking to build a lightweight wheelset with a slight
twist on the traditional box shape found in most low profile rims. Whether you train on the flats or in the
hills, you will be happy with this consistently durable rim.
If you're a heavier rider, ride on rough roads or ride unusually high
mileage, we recommend building an Aerohead OC with higher spoke counts or
suggest you consider the Velocity Fusion Rim.
The Aerohead OC is available with machined sidewalls (MSW) or without
machined sidewalls (NMSW). 24-hole spoke count is
available in black and silver MSW 700c only.
