The Reynolds Element full carbon disc wheel provides incomparably low rolling resistance, exceptional torsional stability and an extremely low drag coefficient. Reynolds wheels are known for their stiffness and the Element flat disc is no exception.
The disc uses Reynolds' CTg (cryo + glass transition point) brake track, a patented, temperature-conductive resin for the brake track, molded in a protective fabric containment layer that actually removes heat from the rim. The rim bed is part of the disc lay-up so there's no chance of separation.
The design features a valve stem cup so you can air up the tire using a standard pump head without an adapter.
The Reynolds Element Disc is available in tubular or clincher in 700c size only and uses a Reynolds disc-specific hub compatible with Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo.
