Michelin took the successful Michelin Pro2 Race tire and improved the durability by 30% by incorporating five-ply casing to resist punctures and road damage, while promoting impressive longevity (5000km on average). The Michelin Krylion Carbon tire is reinforced with a High Density Puncture Protector (HDPP) belt to improve puncture resistance and flexibility. The center tread is further refined with the use of a carbon compound, which specifically helps reduce cracking and premature wear.
