Kinlin PowerTap Package

Wheelbuilder.com is custom hand building PowerTap wheels with Kinlin rims. Now you can configure any Kinlin wheel with a PowerTap Pro or G3 hub, exactly the way you want it. Select a rim from our full line of Kinlin clinchers and tubulars, built with custom spokes, PowerTap hub, and nipples that best fit your training, racing, and aerodynamic needs

Over the years we have tested many rim options to find the ideal balance between strength, weight, and durability. We found the Kinlin products well suited for racing and training with a PowerTap hub.

Although not as well known as some other rim manufacturers, Kinlin is well-regarded by in-the-know cyclists for their light and strong niobium-aluminum alloy rims. Due to the Kinlin's superior stiffness characteristics, it is possible to safely reduce spoke count to decrease mass and improve aerodynamics without compromising durability.

Kinlin Clinchers:

• XR-240: 455g (700c); 423g (650c); 24mm deep
• XR-270: 445g;  27mm deep
• XR-300: 465g; 30mm deep

Kinlin Tubulars:

Hub specifications:

• PowerTap G3: 325g, satin black finish with gloss black graphic treatment
• PowerTap PRO: 430g, satin black finish with gloss black graphic treatment

Electronics:

• Hub Only: For athletes who already own an ANT+ receiver
• PowerTap Joule: Includes PowerTap Joule 2.0 cycling computer, USB download cable, handlebar mount, PowerAgent software, Quick Start Guide and coded heart rate strap
• Garmin Units: All ANT+ PowerTap hubs work with Garmin's Edge 800, Edge 500, and Forerunner 910XT.

To convert the bearings of your G3 or PRO hub with ceramics choose from the ceramic upgrade pull down in the options menu.

Rim Tape and PowerTap Hub Cap Wrench are included with all custom built PowerTap wheels.
