The Track PowerTap uses White Industries splined fixed gear cogs; is normal threading an option?
The Track PowerTap uses the White Industries splined cogs because of technical issues related to the Power Tap torque tube. If you get the threaded cog on tight enough, it's impossible to remove without unthreading the torque tube out of the hub shell. This required the use of a splined design.
