The Enve Composites (formerly Edge Composites) XC carbon tubular is the billy goat of mountain rims. Enve designed a cross-country rim that is both durable and lightweight to allow you to rocket up climbs and blast downhill.
The Enve Composites XC Tubular MTB rim can be built into a sub 1,100 gram wheelset. It represents one of the few options for the ultimate lightweight race day wheelset for a dedicated weight-conscious XC racer. The XC Tubular's carved rotational weight will give your bike an instant climbing pedigree.
The XC Tubular takes advantage of Enve's proprietary laminate and sidewall design, which allows the rim to carry a much higher spoke tension than any rim in its class. This design dramatically improves nipple seating angles, which extends spoke fatigue life and wheel durability.
