The Enve Composites (formerly Edge Composites) 1.45 carbon tubular is one of the lightest semi-aero rims available. The 1.45 balances aerodynamics, stiffness, weight and durability in a 45mm profile suitable for hill climbing, accelerating out of corners or bombing down descents.
Enve's ultralight 1.45 rim weighs a mere 295g and was designed for use in all disciplines of racing, while providing confident crosswind response. Whether you race crits, road races, time trials, hill climbs, track or cross, this rim offers the stiffness and durability to help you excel.
The 1.45 takes advantage of Enve's proprietary laminate and sidewall design, which allows the 1.45 rim to carry a much higher spoke tension than any rim in its class. This design dramatically improves nipple seating angles, which extends spoke fatigue life and wheel durability.
