The XR 425 is DT Swiss' premium cross-country MTB rim designed for rim brake applications. This rim is an excellent choice if you're looking for a lightweight race day wheel that's also suitable for training.

We like building wheels with DT Swiss rims due to their extremely consistent weld joint and overall roundness. These characteristics allow us to build durable wheels with a high degree of precision and low spoke tension variance.

The XR 425 rim is suitable for all cross-country applications where the rider is looking for the lightest, most durable wheel possible. This rim is available in a black finish with 28- or 32-hole count and can easily be converted for tubeless applications with the DT Swiss XR Tubeless Kit.

Note: The XR 425 was formerly called the DT Swiss XR 4.1(c) -- it's same great rim with a new name.
