The X-470 is DT Swiss' premium 29er cross-country MTB rim designed for disc brake applications. This rim is based on the DT Swiss XR 400 rim and uses the same extrusion. It's an excellent choice if you're looking for a lightweight race day rim that's suitable for training.
We like building wheels with DT Swiss rims due to their extremely consistent weld joint and overall roundness. These characteristics allow us to build durable wheels with a high degree of precision and low spoke tension variance.
The X-470 rim is suitable for disc brake cross-country applications where the rider is looking for lightest, most durable wheel possible. Rims come in black with 32-hole count and can be converted for tubeless applications with the Stan's NoTubes Tubeless System.
