The Zipp 101 Aluminum Clincher is the most affordable way to take advantage of Zipp's cutting edge aero technology research and precision manufacturing. The Zipp 101 rims are 30mm deep and 24.5mm wide and are specifically designed to optimize aerodynamics and weight when paired with clincher tires in the 23mm-25mm range.

The 30mm deep ZIPP 101 exceeds the aerodynamic performance of V-shaped rims with a deeper aero profile and can save up to 42 seconds over 40 km compared with the industry’s benchmark aluminum wheelset.

The unique proprietary bulge shape of the Zipp 101 features a maximum width of 24.5mm and 23.75mm at the tire mount. The dynamic wide platform smoothes airflow around the wheel more effectively than typical narrow rim designs. When paired with 23mm tires, the Zipp 101 rim creates a constant tire profile, resists pinch flats, improves lateral stiffness, provides a tubular-like ride quality, and offers superior aerodynamics.
