For cross country applications, consider the lightweight XR 350 or XR 400 (disc brake only) or XR 425 or XR 440 Ceramic (rim brake compatible) rims. The XRC 300 all carbon fiber rim was designed for race specific ultra-lightweight cross country use. Freeriders will appreciate the stiffness of the EX 500 rim. Pair any of the DT rims with your choice of DT Swiss hubs and spokes, or pair the rims with components from Chris King, White Industries and others.
