Chris King R45 Road Racing Front Hub

Chris King designed the R45 hub with the goal of creating a lighter hub that could meet the demands of road racing. Inside the sleek hub body is a stiff 17mm alloy axle for superior performance under the lateral stresses encountered in corners and aggressive sprints.

The R45 hubs feature the legendary King stainless steel sealed bearings and are 100% manufactured in Portland, Oregon. King's proprietary bearings have more rolling elements per bearing for greater durability and precision. The R45 bearings also feature lightweight, low-friction seals for faster rolling. R45 hubs are also available with ceramic bearings.

The R45 is the only front hub in the Chris King line that can be radially laced.
