Aero Disc Covers

Convert your training wheel into a disc! Wheelbuilder can custom trim wheel covers to fit almost any type of wheel. Disc covers are easy to install and give you wind cheating aerodynamics at a fraction of the cost of a disc wheel. Custom trimming is available for all PowerTap models so you can train and race with power on the same wheelset.

Compatibility
• Your wheel must have >5 mm of clearance available between the largest cog on your cassette and the drive side spokes. If the space is less, rubbing will occur between the chain and the cover in the largest rear cog.
• NOT compatible with track, tandem, or front wheels

Installation
The lens-shaped plastic disc covers fit securely onto your wheel in minutes and can turn almost any spoked wheel into a lenticular disc wheel. You’ll remove your cassette (trust us, you can do this) and clip the two sides of the covers together onto your wheel, making a "rim sandwich." The fasteners hold the disc covers in place so they don't shift up/down or around the wheel. Just reinstall your cassette and you’re ready to race.

Ordering
If your wheel is not listed in the “Wheel type” drop down menu, select “Other, please specify” and indicate the wheel or rim type in the “Other wheel, specify type” text box. In the “Other wheel, specify rim depth” rim profile dimensions, please indicate the depth of your rim. See the detailed images section below for how to measure your rim profile, or click here.
