HED PowerTap Package

Wheelbuilder.com is custom hand building PowerTap wheels with HED Belgium C2 rims. Now you can configure any HED wheel with a PowerTap Pro, G3, or G3C hub, exactly the way you want it. Select a clincher or tubular C2 rim built with custom spokes, PowerTap hub, and nipples that best fit your training, racing and aerodynamic needs

The HED Belgium C2 Clincher and HED Belgium C2 Tubular rims have the modern 23mm wide profile. The C2 series rims are growing in popularity due to their outstanding handling, acceleration, cornering and climbing performance.

HED named their C2 series rims after the lower coefficient of rolling resistance (Crr) and higher aerodynamics (Cda) provided by the 23mm wide rims. With 23c tires, the C2 rim creates a constant tire profile, rather than getting pinched into the rim. The overall ride quality is improved and the result is tubular-like ride quality from a clincher tire. The smooth transition from the tire to the edge of the rim allows laminar air flow and lower aerodynamic drag.

For riders wanting a slightly wider tire, we like the Vittoria Open Pave Evo CG clincher tire with the HED Belgium C2 clincher rim.

Hub specifications:

• PowerTap G3: 330g, satin black finish with gloss black graphic treatment
• PowerTap G3C: 315g, satin black finish with gloss black graphic treatment
• PowerTap PRO: 430g, satin black finish with gloss black graphic treatment

Electronics:

• Hub Only: For athletes who already own an ANT+ receiver
• PowerTap Joule: Includes PowerTap Joule 2.0 cycling computer, USB download cable, handlebar mount, PowerAgent software, Quick Start Guide and coded heart rate strap
• Garmin Units: All ANT+ PowerTap hubs work with Garmin's Edge 800, Edge 500, and Forerunner 910XT.

To convert the bearings of your PRO hub with ceramics choose from the ceramic upgrade pull down in the options menu.
