When Saris needed a mountain version of their legendary PowerTap hub, they enlisted Wheelbuilder to lend a hand with engineering design. After months of grueling torture testing, the hubs proved themselves worthy for use in cycling's most punishing conditions. We're proud of our contribution to the design of the PowerTap Disc Brake Mountain hub.

Electronics:

• Hub Only: for athletes who already own an ANT+ receiver
• PowerTap Joule: Includes Joule GPS or Joule, USB download cable, front of bar mount, stem mount, Poweagent software and Quick-start guide. PowerTap coded heart rate strap and wireless speed/cadence sensor not included.
• Garmin Units: all ANT+ PowerTap hubs work with Garmin's Edge 800, Edge 500, Edge 705, 310XT and Forerunner 910XT GPS units

Wheelbuilder PowerTap MTB Axle Conversion kit upgrade:

The 142mm x 12mm Wheelbuilder PowerTap MTB Axle Conversion kit will allow you to adapt your PowerTap MTB hub to fit the latest X-12 frame standard used by Specialized, Trek and others. Additionally, we designed our axles to allow users to switch between the 142mm x 12mm and 135-QR standards by simply changing the optional end caps.

• Axle Conversion kit includes:
  • 17mm oversize axle
  • 142mm end caps
  • Special 17mm drive bearing
• Optional 135mm QR Non-Drive side end cap
• Axle installation included with wheel build
